Cyber attack on Intel, 20GB data breached
Intel, a major chipset manufacturer, has fallen victim to a cyber attack. In this backing, hackers have defrauded the company of 20 GB data which contains important information, although the hacker has not been identified yet. It is being said in the report that the stolen 20 GB data contains confidential and secret data information. According to the report, the leaked data also includes BIOS code and de-bugging code. Initial investigations suggest that this data leak has been leaked from Intel Resource and Design Center. Swiss software developer Till Kottmann has tweeted about the Intel data leak. He has said in one of his tweets that earlier this year, he got information about this hacking from a hacker.
According to the screenshot revealed, the stolen data includes information on Intel’s road-map and confidential information as well as several versions of the processor. Apart from this, it also has some marketing templates.
Let us know that recently the major camera maker Canon has been victim of cyber attack. Canon’s image.canon cloud storage service has come to a standstill following this cyber attack. Apart from this, the company’s US website and many internal applications have also been shut down after this hacking.
Canon has not yet provided any detailed information about this hacking but according to some reports, Mage ransomware has been attacked on Canon. After this cyber attack, Canon has also published a note on the image.canon website.
